A Lifesaver for My Labrador During a Backcountry Storm
I rarely describe a product as a lifesaver, but this one truly earned that title. During an unexpected multi-day stretch of cold, soaking rain in the backcountry, my Labrador, Cooper, who is very sensitive to cold temperatures, relied on this heating pad to stay warm. We were fortunate to find shelter, but the extra warmth it provided gave me tremendous peace of mind and helped keep him comfortable, dry, and safe throughout the storm.
The pad endured harsh backcountry conditions and continued to perform flawlessly. This isn't just a camping accessory—it proved its value in a genuine emergency. If you camp, overland, hunt, or travel with dogs in cold, wet weather, I highly recommend keeping one on hand. I hope I never have to depend on it under those circumstances again, but I am incredibly grateful I had it when Cooper needed it most. Saving up for another one since Cooper has claimed this as his now!
